NICOLE C. CHIAPPETTA, D.O.
Dr. Chiappetta is the head of OAA's Rheumatology Institute.
She joined OAA in September 2005 after
completing a Rheumatology Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is
Board Certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Chiappetta treats patients with autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and scleroderma. She is trained in the newest drug therapies, including Remicade, Orencia, Enbrel, Humira, and Rituximab. In addition, she leads special lectures for OAA's growing arthritis support group. Dr. Chiappetta makes use of alternate pain therapies with the region's only lymphedema team, as well as OAA's specially designed, physician-engineered, anti-inflammatory nutraceutical products.
At the region's only rheumatology institute of its kind, Dr. Chiappetta, OAA's physicians and surgeons, physical therapists, hand therapists, and clinical staff all work together, utilizing a unique team approach.
