LAURA M. DUNNE, M.D.
Dr. Laura Dunne is a primary care sports medicine physician working at OAA Orthopaedic Specialists in the
Lehigh
Valley for the past four years. She holds a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine, is board certified in family medicine, and is a fellow of the
American
Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Dunne completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the
Ohio
State
University prior to moving to
Pennsylvania to head the Women’s Center for Sports Medicine at OAA Orthopaedic Specialists. She has treated athletes on every level from the playground athlete and the weekend warrior to the national champion OSU football team and gold medal winning USA Hockey U17 team.
Prior to starting her career in sports medicine, Dr. Dunne was an All American in diving at the
Johns
Hopkins
University. Running and soccer are her main athletic activities.
When not busy with getting athletes back on the field, covering games, or playing in her own games, she is busy with her hockey-playing husband and three children.
