SCOTT E. SEXTON, M.D.


sextonDr. Scott Sexton, Trauma
Surgeon, recently joined
OAA's Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery team.  Specializing in trauma and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Sexton had lived in Central New Jersey
most of his life and recently returned to the Northeast with his family, after practicing at a large, Level II trauma center in St. Petersburg, Florida for the past year.     

Dr. Sexton is a graduate of UMDNJ-NJMS, New Jersey, having completed his orthopaedic residency at Monmouth Medical Center.  While at Monmouth, he received training in all areas of orthopaedics, with particular emphasis in total joint arthroplasty, foot and ankle reconstruction, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and spinal reconstruction.  Dr. Sexton then went on to recieve additional training and completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, where he received specalized training in the management of complex orthopedic injuries.
